State Criminal Law
I have been involved in thousands of State criminal cases both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney. I understand the system and the individuals involved. Many people who are charged with a crime and face prison rely on public defenders to represent them. The public defenders are all dedicated and hard-working attorneys. I have great respect for the office. However, they are short-staffed and overworked. If you have the money, knowledge, and experience, a private attorney is always your best chance to walk free. That does not mean that a private attorney is guaranteed to win your case. No one can predict with certainty the outcome of any case. However, the odds are in your favor with a private attorney. That is especially true with an attorney who has worked both as a defense attorney and a prosecutor.
