Fees in Criminal Matters

For all criminal cases, I will charge a flat fee. That fee shall include the total cost of representation from the first day of hire to the conclusion of the case. Any appellate issues will not be included. The only exception would be in complex cases involving paying for investigators and/or expert witnesses. If I believe your case will require additional resources, I will discuss with you the likelihood of needing additional resources before we mutually settle on a reasonable fee.

Factors for determining flat fee rates are:

Complexity of the case
Severity and nature of the charges
Client's preference and ability to pay.

Fees in Family Law Cases

For all family law cases, I will charge a flat fee. That fee shall include the total cost of representation from the first day of hire to the conclusion of the case.

Factors for determining flat fee rates are:

Complexity: the number of assets and whether child custody is an issue.

Duration: The length of time the case is expected to take will influence the fee.
Level of Work: Estimating the amount of work involved, including court appearances, document review, and client communication, helps determine the fee.

Client's preference and ability to pay.
